Latrell Sprewell is committed to finishing his career as a Knick. But he wants to win, too. Thus Sprewell is offering his services as a consultant this summer, according to Chris Broussard of the New York Times.

Sprewell offered the same services last summer, suggesting that the Knicks offer Allan Houston and Marcus Camby for some much needed size up front. His hope was that the Knicks would land his buddy Chris Webber.

"It hasn't changed since last year," Sprewell said. "I'm just kind of wondering at this point what's going to happen. I felt like I voiced my opinion last year and it was kind of unheard, I guess.

"Maybe they did hear and just couldn't get the deal to go down. I don't know. As a player, the thing you don't understand is how hard they're really trying. We don't know what deals are on the table. We don't know what stuff maybe was there and then fell apart at the last minute. So, I'm sure they're trying. And to be honest, it's not like there are a lot of talented big guys out there."
