It was not the decisive play in the Jazz's 112-103 win over Golden State on Saturday night at the Delta Center.
   But it was important.
And it certainly was the most spectacular.
Andrei Kirilenko's long lob pass led to Scott Padgett's acrobatic layup with 10:15 left. It gave Utah an 88-78 lead -- just enough cushion to prevent Golden State from coming back and putting a huge roadblock in the Jazz's run to the playoffs.
"That's the fastest I've ever seen Scott Padgett run," said teammate Bryon Russell.
"It was a heck of a pass," said John Stockton. "When he threw it, I wasn't too pleased. But it was one of those plays: 'No, no, yes.' "
The long Kirilenko-to-Padgett pass completion began with a defensive stop by the Jazz, who didn't make all that many of them down the stretch.

Golden State's Jason Richardson missed a 15-footer. Donyell Marshall rebounded and fired the ball to Kirilenko, who dribbled just over the mid-court line and threw a perfectly placed lob to Padgett.
"I am just watching Scott run a little bit in front [of the defense] and just alley-oop, you know?" said Kirilenko.
"That's the first lob I've had thrown to me since -- I don't know -- probably since I was at Kentucky," Padgett said. "The whole time, I knew he was going to throw it. Andrei's that kind of player. If I was throwing it, that's what he would have wanted. So I knew it was coming. I just tried to get there as fast as I could."
