OK, wake up, everybody. Time to go out and play after a four-day nap. That includes the Sacramento Kings, who have failed to wake up or play in their first-round series against the Jazz.

Not to their potential, anyway.

At least, that's the sad song the Kings are crooning after forfeiting -- in one game -- the home-court advantage they earned in 82 games.

To a man, the bleating is mixed-chorus perfect on this Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde Kings team, altered only by a parsing of words: They must become themselves; let the game come to them; make better decisions; and quit whining about the officiating. Yada, yada, yada.
