According to Branson Wright of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Nick Anderson has an excused absence from Cavaliers training camp. Anderson and Jim Paxson have an agreement that Anderson will either retire or seek an opportunity with another team.

One would assume this would open a roster spot for Matt Barnes
