Speedy Claxton was playing well before he went down with a dislocated shoulder 46 games back, but the good news for the Spurs and their fans is that he has now pinpointed a date which he would like to return.

Claxton is hoping to be back on February 14, against the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers who have found a new lease of life no less, after shooting and doing conditioning work the past month.  He has already passed the Spurs physical test, and is set to meet with Dr. Craig Morgan, the shoulder specialist who operated on him, on during the All-Star break.

"I'm not going to give him any other choice but to clear me," Claxton said. "I'm totally healed. I'm ready to go and I'll be in uniform against the Lakers."
