Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports: With about two weeks to go in the regular season, the Magic are hurting.

On Tuesday in San Antonio, Tracy McGrady strained a muscle on his right side, which was officially diagnosed with a strained intercostalis, which is a muscle between the ribs

However, with two more days of rest until the Magic's game in Dallas against the Mavericks, McGrady hopes to get rested and healthy.

He is just thankful that his injury wasn't related to his on and off injured back.

"I know the difference between the pain of this and back spasms and the problem I had with my back the last two years," McGrady said. "This definitely has nothing to do with my old back problems."
