As the Orlando Magic prepare for their first round series against the Detroit Pistons, they have to factor in that Pat Garrity might only be able to play limited minutes.

Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports: After only 30 minutes of practice on Friday, Garrity left the practice floor and had a magnetic resonance imaging test done on what he thought was a re-aggravation of a old groin injury.

However, the MRI revealed that Garrity has a bruised pelvis. He is still expected to play in Game 1 on Sunday but might only see limited minutes.

For the season, Garrity is averaging 10.7 points and is shooting 39.6 percent from three-point range.
