It's looking more and more as if the Los Angeles Clippers won't match the six-year, $51 million offer sheet that restricted free-agent point guard Andre Miller signed last Wednesday with the Denver Nuggets.

Not only have sources said that the Clippers are unlikely to match, they've now taken steps toward landing Miller's replacement. On its Web site Saturday night, the Washington Post quoted unnamed sources as saying the Clippers have made an offer to Golden State restricted free-agent point guard Gilbert Arenas for about $60 million over six years.
