ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Orlando guard Tracy McGrady hurt his right leg during the Magic's game against New Jersey on Friday night.

The NBA's second-leading scorer was injured with 3:21 remaining before halftime when the Nets' Richard Jefferson collided with him during a scramble for a rebound.

McGrady immediately collapsed, pounding the floor in agony. After a few moments, he tried to hobble down the runway to Orlando's locker room, then was reminded he had to shoot the free throws from Jefferson's foul.

Using teammate Juwan Howard as a crutch, McGrady limped to the other end of the floor and made his two foul shots to give him six points. He also had seven rebounds and three assists in 17 minutes.

McGrady entered the game averaging 24.5 points.

Earlier, New Jersey center Jason Collins sprained an ankle. Team officials said he would miss the rest of the game.

Collins had eight points and four rebounds in 11 minutes.
