Yesterday, it was reported that Knicks president Isiah Thomas was interested in bringing Nuggets forward Marcus Camby to New York but apparently Camby doesn't want to go anywhere.

While Camby plans to test the free-agent market this summer, he has told his agent that he wants to stay put in Denver.

"He's looking for one last long contract and a place he can stay. He has told me Denver's that place," agent Rick Kaplan said Friday. "He fully intends on staying here."

The Nuggets can offer Camby a contract extension up till March 1 but that won't happen according to Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe.

"We definitely want him with us," Vandeweghe said. "Both of us (he and Kaplan) kind of agreed at the beginning of the season, we weren't going to go into any negotiation period during the season. We want Marcus to focus on basketball."
