Shooting guard Doug Christie may be facing season-ending surgery according to Orlando Magic sources.  Moving quickly, Magic GM John Weisbrod is already looking for someone to fill in for Christie in his absence.

General Manager John Weisbrod said that his preference would be to sign "a domestic player who's playing in Europe." Weisbrod said he really wasn't interested in searching the Continental Basketball Association for help. Coach Johnny Davis said he and Weisbrod have discussed bringing in a veteran guard.

Guard Jimmy "Snap" Hunter was a Weisbrod favorite in summer-league play and now is playing in Europe after a stint in the CBA.
