Spurs All-Star guard Tony Parker missed his first game of the season Tuesday night because of a bruised right shin, according to the Associated Press.

Parker was injured at Seattle on Sunday night when he was accidentally kicked, and was inactive for the game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

"It's really sore," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said before the game. "He can't push off or put any weight on it."

Popovich said Parker could miss two or three games with the injury.
