Orlando Magic General Manager Otis Smith on Thursday discounted a report in the Sacramento Bee that Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu might be traded for Kings guard/forward Ron Artest.

Earlier in the day, the agent for Artest had told the Sentinel that the report was "just talk."

"I haven't heard anything like that," agent Mark Stevens told the Orlando Sentinel. "As far as I'm concerned, Ron's still with the Sacramento Kings."

The Sacramento Bee reported that the Kings asked the Magic if Turkoglu were available. Turkoglu played his first three seasons in Sacramento.
