Spurs' Assistant Coach Mike Budenholzer has finally landed his long-anticipated job interview with the Phoenix Suns, according to The San Antonio Express-News.

He flew to Arizona on Tuesday to meet with General Manager Steve Kerr and other team officials about the vacancy.

?There are only 30 of these jobs in the NBA to begin with,? Budenholzer said. ?Obviously, to meet with members of an organization as successful as this one ? it's pretty exciting. It's an opportunity a lot of people would like to have.?

Budenholzer, 38, has worked for the Spurs for 14 years, with 12 of them as an assistant.
