Denver guard Allen Iverson sat out practice on Monday due to a left knee contusion that happened when he bumped knees during Friday's practice, the Denver Post is reporting.

He is not expected to miss significant time.

"We've kind of got some banged up guys, but that's usually around your sixth or seventh practice where ... the combination of wear-and-tear and fatigue and conditioning, guys have to take a few days off," said Nuggets coach George Karl, who added he's not worried about anyone missing a big chunk of time. "Not right now. The report right just seems like (players are) banged up, just typical nicks and tidbits."
