Celtics guard Marquis Daniels is downplaying the soreness he has felt in his left wrist.

Daniels first felt the soreness following Boston's game against Indiana on Nov. 14.

"I'm a hockey player," he said. "I'm all right, it's OK. I'm just protecting it a little bit."

After some prodding, he corrected his hockey fib.

"I can't skate," Daniels continued. "I'm from Florida. I don't even like ice."
