Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni says that there are no restrictions of the playing time of Tracy McGrady.

"The doctors don't have any restrictions on him," D'Antoni said of McGrady, who underwent microfracture knee surgery a year ago Wednesday.

"It'll be just he and I and, 'How do you feel?' and, 'What do you think?' We'd like to get it to the point where he is playing normal minutes. But we'll wait and see how he feels."

McGrady played 32 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday night.

"I haven't played in so long and I just don't want to jump into averaging 30-something minutes right now; I just don't think it's a smart thing to do," he said.

"When I'm out there, I'm going to try to go as hard as possible, because I need to get into game shape. I'm a ways away. If I can get five games under my belt averaging 25-30 minutes, I should be ready."
