The 76ers will soon contact Larry Brown about their coaching vacancy, but they have little interest in giving him a front-office position, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Brown, 69, just finished his second season with the Bobcats and has said several times that Charlotte will be his last coaching stop.

Philadelphia is currently run by president and general manager Ed Stefanski, but his job has not been guaranteed.

Brown's family still lives in Philadelphia from his stint as the 76ers coach years ago.
