The city of Akron, Ohio is organizing a "LeBron Appreciation Day" for June 19.

The purpose of the event is to convince James to re-sign with the Cavaliers and "to bring together as many people as possible to send a unified message of support to our hometown hero LeBron James."

It is not known if James will attend the event.
