Bill Walker played up-and-down in Las Vegas this week as he looks to get used to playing at a significantly lower weight.

New York coach Mike D?Antoni asked Walker to slim down his solid frame and there have been reports that he?s lost as many as 27 pounds since the season ended.

?I was just looking to get used to playing without all that weight,? Walker said when RealGM asked him what he was looking to show at the summer league. ?It?s a major adjustment. The more I play, I?ll get used to it.?

Walker, who estimated that he?s hovering around 200 pounds, added that he doesn?t feel having NBA experience really helps in the summer league.

?I don?t know that it helps,? he said. ?This is kind of like pick-up, you don?t have a lot of time to gel with guys and stuff like that.?

Walker has split time between New York and Boston in his two seasons.
