Rockets center Yao Ming will miss at least a week of action after suffering a mild left ankle sprain on Wednesday night against the Wizards.

An MRI taken Thursday in Indianapolis confirmed the injury.

Yao will return to Houston to begin rehabilitation while the team finishes their current road trip.
