Byron Scott and J.J. Hickson met to speak one-on-one at some point in the last week.

The pair had been sniping at each other through the Cleveland media since the preseason.

Scott had been critical of Hickson's effort and rebounding, while the forward had grown tired of the negativity.

The coach declined to give specifics or say if anything else occurred to lead to the talk.

"We had a conversation the other day," Scott said. "We'll just leave it at that."

It seems as though the two may have finally patched up their relationship.

"It's no secret our relationship hasn't been the best," Hickson said. "But as a young player, it's up to me to be humbled by the whole situation and listen to him. He played in the league for a long time. Who am I to question his actions?"
