Chris Bosh will not play in Miami's game against the Knicks on Thursday night as he continues to deal with a high-ankle sprain.

"He is not going with us [to New York]," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "He will not be playing and we'll continue to monitor him every day from here."

Bosh suffered a high ankle sprain on Jan. 15 and there is no timetable for his return.

"I don't know," Bosh said. "I've been waiting and waiting and waiting. I don't really have a target. I did have a target of [Thursday], but that didn't work out, so I didn't make a target after that."

The Heat will play four games in five days and while he didn't rule it out, Spoelstra didn't seem optimistic that Bosh would be return during the stretch.

"We won't have an opportunity to practice for another 10, 12 days," Spoelstra said.

"It's too early to tell. He's doing more than he did yesterday. To see him going full-speed, full-contact by Friday or Saturday, that would probably be very ambitious," he added.
