Ray Allen needs just six three-pointers to break Reggie Miller's all-time NBA record of 2,560 made treys.

Many athletes become worn by the questions and pressure that come with chasing a record, but Allen appreciates the pursuit.

"I truly am enjoying it," he said. "This is a moment I've never experienced before. I don't know how many people can experience this kind of moment.

"But we're playing a team sport," said Allen. "There's an individual element associated with me right now. But as much as I've always been into team, people are pointing at me right now, like you have to keep doing it.

"It's a testimony to the guys who stay around for a long time, because longevity produces greatness in any sport."

Allen said he prefers to set the record at the Garden, and there's an above average chance that will happen with three of the next four games at home.
