Kendrick Perkins is two days away from technically being considered day-to-day.

Thunder coach Scott Brooks confirmed after this morning's shoot-around that Perkins will not play in Wednesday's game against Philadelphia.

Brooks smiled when asked if there was a chance Perkins could be cleared in time to play against the Pistons.

"Let's put it this way, he's getting closer," said Brooks.
