The Hawkeyes have finally kept a top-rated Iowa recruit away from North Carolina coach Roy Williams.

Sioux City East center Adam Woodbury says he’ll play for Iowa next season instead of the Tar Heels.

Woodbury, who’s 7-foot-1, is widely considered one of the nation’s top recruits and he is the best signing yet for second-year coach Fran McCaffery.
