Dwight Howard hasn't rescinded his trade request, but think there is no chance he is traded before the All-Star Game, which is scheduled for February 26th in Orlando.

“I don’t think they are going to do anything right now because we’re winning,” Howard said after a 104-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings. “Even if this is the last season, let’s go out hard, regardless.”

Howard also doesn't expect to be dealt before the March 15th deadline.

Sources close to Howard say he would need to be convinced that the team is a legitimate title contender in order to stay with the Magic.

Howard could postpone his free agency by one season and leave the Magic in the summer of 2013 if they haven't already traded him, according to sources close to him.

“Even if he does a Chris Paul and opts in and stays another year, they’ll still end up losing him,” one league source said. “The inevitable is coming.”
