Dwight Howard reportedly told officials from the Magic that he wouldn't be officially signing forms to remain with the franchise beyond the 11-12 season.

In response to Howard's reversal, sources say the Magic began quickly looking for potential trades.

The Nets and Rockets are amongst the teams most eager and capable of acquiring Howard via trade.

Multiple league executives believe the Magic have firmly decided to deal Howard ahead of the deadline.

Following Wednesday's loss to the Spurs, Howard told RealGM that he intended to sign the paperwork to remain with the Magic for the 12-13 season.
