Kentucky defeated Kansas by a final score of 67-59 to win the 2012 NCAA National Championship.

The title is Kentucky's first since 1998 and eighth in school history.

Doron Lamb led the Wildcats with 22 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the floor, while Marquis Teague had 14 points. 

Anthony Davis was just 1-for-10 from the floor, but had 16 rebounds, six blocks, five assists and three steals. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had 11 points and six rebounds.

Tyshawn Taylor had 19 points to pace Kansas, while Thomas Robinson had 18 points and 17 rebounds.
