Monty Williams believes Anthony Davis has improved as his rookie season has wore on, but he wants the 20-year-old to gain 15 additional pounds of muscle -- including seven this upcoming offseason.

Davis is listed at 220 pounds but has been as high as 226 this season, during which he lifts weight on game days.

Davis does not want to get too strong, but he agrees that he needs to add muscle.

"[LaMarcus Aldridge] is a great example," Davis said. "L.A. came in looking like me, Dwight [Howard] came in looking like me, Kevin Durant, and they are all doing well in the league. That's a great comparison from coach. I am just trying to get better and stronger so I can eventually be on the level that they are."

Davis is averaging 13.2 points and 8.1 rebounds for the New Orleans Hornets.
