Spencer Hawes has been a strong fit with the Cleveland Cavaliers since being traded from the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging a career-best 14 points while shooting 44 percent from three-point range.

Hawes and the Cavaliers share a mutual interest in re-signing in free agency. Hawes will be an unrestricted free agent in July.

"I like it here, I think it's a good fit," Hawes said. "And when July comes you kind of see how the other side of the game, how that all fits together."

Hawes still believes he can improve his chemistry with teammates such as Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters.

"I think earlier on when I first got here, it was more scoring, more playing off the ball," Hawes said. "Now, getting more comfortable trying to get the ball in my hands a little more and trying to make things easy for [Irving and Waiters]."
