Steve Kerr does not like the impact the NBA's instant replay system is having upon the game.

“Can we just get rid or replay altogether?” Kerr said on KNBR on Thursday.

“It’s taking forever, 20,000 people are bored, everyone’s sitting around, and it just seems so worthless anyway. It’s like, ‘Yeah, well we want to get everything right.’ Well, we don’t get everything right anyway. Like there’s so many calls that could go either way in every game. It’s such a hard game to referee. There’s calls back and forth all game that are completely questionable, so why do we stop the game and have these horrible, long delays? I think replay review is just a joke.

“Why does it matter in the last two minutes, and it doesn’t matter in the first 46? If I were the czar of replay, what I would say is only review the last shot of the game, the last shot of every quarter. Did he get it off in time at the buzzer? And those are obviously critical, but there are some many other things that happen during the game that are subjective.”
