Blake Griffin continue to sit but it is actually his partially torn left quadriceps tendon and not his broken hand that is keeping him out.

Griffin suffered the quad injury on Christmas Day and was originally scheduled to miss at least two weeks.

Griffin joined the team in their five-game road trip at the end of January optimistic he was close to returning and that is when he broke his hand.

Griffin was assessed a four-game suspension and a fifth game without pay for his involvement in the incident.

"We don't know when he's coming back," Rivers said. "We are hoping as soon as possible.

"He looks good, but he still doesn't feel ready. [Hand]-wise, he's fine. But he just doesn't feel right yet. ... I would say the hand is ahead of the quad," Rivers added.
