Carmelo Anthony went on a tirade in the locker room after the New York Knicks' loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in which they blew a 10-point lead in the final 2:30.

Anthony was upset with the loss and also that he was frozen out on the Knicks' final possession, a sequence that ended with Kristaps Porzingis shooting an air ball from the corner. Anthony never touched the ball on the possession.

Afterwards, Anthony told reporters that the loss was "unacceptable" while one of Anthony's associates said "that was as down as I've ever seen him after a game."

Anthony has never considered requesting a trade from the Knicks, according to the source.

Anthony's relationship with Phil Jackson has never been great and it's much worse now. Jackson ignored Anthony's suggestion on interviewing Tom Thibodeau and he also criticized Anthony for stalling the offense.
