The Boston Celtics have tendered the qualifying offer to Kelly Olynyk.

If the Celtics are to sign a max free agent, they will almost certainly need to rescind the qualifying offer to Olynyk to allow him to become an unrestricted free agent.

Olynyk was part of Boston's recruiting contingent last offseason.
