The Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets are discussing a trade involving Iman Shumpert.

Shumpert has been inconsistent since re-signing with the Cavaliers in 2015.

The Rockets would acquire Shumpert for a package of non-guaranteed contracts, which would create cap flexibility for Cleveland.

Shumpert has two seasons and $21.3 million remaining on his deal with Cleveland.

Shumpert played for Mike D'Antoni while with the Knicks.
