The Cleveland Cavaliers are willing to trade Tristan Thompson in the right deal leading to this year's deadline, according to multiple teams.

One player the Cavaliers could deal for with Thompson as a centerpiece is DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Cavaliers hopes of trading for a player like Paul George or DeMarcus Cousins are dashed as their teams are pushing for the current season and aren't interested in dealing them.

Thompson will be a free agent after the 19-20 season. Thompson signed a five-year, $82 million contract with the Cavaliers in restricted free agency in 2015.
