The New York Knicks have agreed to hire David Fizdale as head coach on a four-year contract.

Fizdale was fired by the Memphis Grizzlies early in the 17-18 season. Fizdale turned down an offer from the Suns.

Fizdale will replace Jeff Hornacek as head coach.

Fizdale met with James Dolan on Thursday to finalize the deal.
