Draymond Green addressed the lowered expectations for the Golden State Warriors heading into next season, telling Rachel Nichols in an interview on ESPN's "The Jump" that he relishes having the underdog chip on his shoulder again.

"I've heard people say we're not gonna make the playoffs...that's just, like, that's total disrespect, but no different than the disrespect we've all been getting for years. I like it. You know, being the underdog. It's been a while since we been the underdog. But it brings that underdog chip back, and I miss that chip," said Green.

The Warriors opened at minus-400 odds to make the playoffs at Caesars' Sportsbook. They were minus-10,000 odds to reach the playoffs last season.

Green also discussed recent rumors that Kevin Durant stopped talking to his teammates towards the end of last season.

Green added that he found about Durant's decision to sign with the Nets along with everyone else.

"It's my life, like, am I supposed to come to you and A) let you know that that's what I wanna do, or B) ask you for permission? No. And so I found out when everybody else found out, which is exactly how it should be."
