The Cleveland Cavaliers are starting a process of "uprooting veterans" on their roster in order to accumulate draft picks and young assets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The team traded Jordan Clarkson in exchange for Dante Exum and 2 second-round picks on Monday night.

The Cavs also created a $3.83 million trade exception in the deal.

The Cavs are also projected to have more than $28 million in cap space for free agency.
