While TNT's coverage of the NBA Playoffs is down approximately 28 percent through the first round compared to 2019, its ratings have largely held up for games airing in East Coast primetime.

TNT is averaging 1.92 million viewers and a 1.3 household rating compared to 2.79 million viewers and a 1.8 rating.

For games airing in East Coast primetime, TNT is averaging 2.56 million viewers, down just 11 percent from the year-ago 2.88 million.

Nearly half of all TV homes in the United States are in the Eastern time zone compared to 16 percent in the Pacific, 29 percent in the Central and seven percent in the Mountain region.

TNT is also scheduled to carry the entirety of the Western Conference Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers widely expected to meet in what most analysts believe would draw the highest possible rating.
