Portland Trail Blazers rookie Toumani Camara will miss the remainder of the season due to a broken rib and kidney laceration. Camara was injured in the Blazers loss at the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

Camara remained in Atlanta but has since been released. He'll travel back to Portland soon, but will miss the remainder of the season.

Camara started 49 of his 70 games for the Trail Blazers as a rookie. The rookie forward averaged 7.5 points and 4.9 rebounds. Portland acquired Camara ahead of the season from the Phoenix Suns in the three-team trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks.
