Kevin Durant is closing in on a return to game action from his injured, sources tell Shams Charania. Durant could return at some point next week.

Durant would also have already returned to action if this were the playoffs, but the Brooklyn Nets have been extra cautious.

Durant last played on February 13th at the Golden State Warriors.
