The Miami Heat have declined their $15 million team option for 2021-22 for forward Andre Iguodala. Iguodala will now be an unrestricted free agent.

Iguodala joined Miami at the 2020 trade deadline from the Memphis Grizzlies. Iguodala played a key role as a reserve in the Heat's run to the 2020 NBA Finals in the bubble.

This past season, Iguodala averaged 21.2 minutes in 63 games, mostly off the Miami bench. He scored 4.4 points and grabbed 3.5 rebounds per game.

Despite heading into his 18th NBA season in 2021-22, Iguodala is expected to have offers from several contending teams.
