Kemba Walker returned the New York Knicks starting lineup on Saturday, after not playing at all since November 26. With several teammates out due to injuries and health and safety protocols, Walker took advantage of his rare start. He scored 29 points, as the Knicks fell to one of his former teams, the Boston Celtics.

When asked postgame about being dropped from the rotation, Walker candidly said “I hate it. I want to play.”

Walker went on to say he's going to stay prepared and locked in to play, but made it clear he believes he should be playing regular minutes.

“I want to play,” Walker said. “I don’t know. So, it is what it is. I don’t know what the future holds. I do feel like I have a lot to give still.”
