The Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder have discussed a trade involving Tobias Harris.

The 76ers downplayed the discussions and noted that they are just one of several teams with cap space that have inquired about taking on his salary in exchange for draft picks.

If the 76ers were to trade Harris at this point, they would effectively be giving up on the current season.

Harris is making $35.9 million this season and has two years and $76.9 million left on his deal.

The 76ers would almost certainly need to unload the salary of Harris this coming offseason in order to sign James Harden outright.
