The NBA Board of Governors has approved two rules changes that will take effect next season.

The rules are a second coach's challenge if the first one is successful and an in-game flopping penalty.

Coaches having access to a second challenge is something that teams have been lobbying for over the past few years. If a team gets a challenge correct, they'll have a chance for a second one. Teams will not get their timeout back if their second challenge is successful.

When a referee calls a flop, there will be a non-sportsmanlike technical foul called on the offending players' team
