Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are gearing up to face Real Madrid as part of their preseason overseas tour. Doncic has fond memories of his time playing for the Spanish club. Enough so, that Doncic said he'd return to Real Madrid if he ever returned to playing in Europe.

“I’ve got a lot of great memories and I’m happy to be back," Doncic said. "If I return to Europe one day, I’m sure it will be to Real Madrid. That’s 100%.”

Doncic also said he's been looking forward to this preseason matchup for a while.

“I’ve been looking forward to this game for months now and it’s going to be one of the most special games of my career, maybe the most. It’s going to be really exciting and I’m looking forward to getting out there on the court,” Doncic said.

Nemanja Bjelica is reportedly retiring from basketball after missing the start of Crvena Zvezda's season due to a calf injury.

Bjelica averaged 2.7 points in 7 Euroleague games last season.

Bjelica last played for the Warriors during the 2021-22 season, averaging 6.1 points in 71 games. 

Former Golden State Warriors forward Anthony Lamb is heading to New Zealand for next season. Lamb is signing a one-year deal with the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian NBL.

Lamb's deal reportedly including an NBA out, should the 6-foot-6 forward receive an offer to return stateside. Lamb appeared in 62 games for the Warriors last season. He began the year on a two-way contract, and was converted to a standard deal in mid-March.
