Alex Sarr has quickly emerged as a potential high lottery pick in 2024.

Sarr is 7-1 with a 7-5 wingspan and plays for the Perth Wildcats. Draft Express moved Sarr up from 19th in June to fifth in its latest mock draft.

“Sarr might go first,” said one unnamed NBA general manager to The Ringer.

Sarr has elite potential on defense and is multi-dimensional on offense. 

Sarr was asked by The Ringer what he loves about basketball.

“The endless things you can improve on. I think it never stops,” Sarr said. “I don’t think I’ll ever get to a point in my career where you do everything great. There’s always something that you can work on.”

Arturs Zagars has signed with Fenerbahce in Turkey.

Zagars emerged on NBA radars as one of the breakout stars of the World Cup.

Zagars played for the Washington Wizards in Summer League in 2022.

Serge Ibaka has signed with Bayern Munich in Germany. 

Ibaka previously played for Bayern head coach Pablo Laso when he was with Real Madrid before his NBA career began.

Ibaka played last season for the Milwaukee Bucks before he was traded and released by the Indiana Pacers. 

Former Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Brian Adams was named the head coach of the Taipei Taishin Mars in Taiwan’s T1 league, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Adams spent the last nine seasons as an assistant to Doc Rivers with the Clippers and Sixers.
