Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated KK Partizan by a final score of 78-67 in the Adriatic League.

Jordan Farmar had 14 points and seven assists to lead Macabbi, while Sofoklis Schortsanitis and Devin Smith each had 12 points.

Nikola Pekovic led Partizan with 23 points and seven rebounds.

ASVEL defeated Cholet by a final score of 79-70 on Saturday. 

Tony Parker had 19 points, seven assists, five rebounds and four steals for ASVEL, who improved to 2-2. Hilton Armstrong had 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Talor Battle had 14 points on nine shots in a losing effort for Cholet.

Besiktas defeated Turk Telekom by a final score of 97-88 on Sunday behind strong performances from Deron Williams and Marcelus Kemp.

Williams finished with 23 points and eight assists, while Kemp had 25 points and seven rebounds. Semih Erden had 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Mehmet Okur had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Turk Telekom. Darius Washington had a game-high 29 points on 16 shots.

Williams and Okur were longtime teammates with the Jazz until the former was traded to the Nets last February.

Besiktas defeated Pinar by a final score of 100-93 in the Turkish TBL on Saturday.

Deron Williams had 24 points and 10 assists in 37 minutes. Former Nevada win Marcelus Kemp had 23 points on 15 shots.

Nets' GM Billy King was in attendance for the game.

Bilbao Basket defeated Olympiacos by a final score of 76-61 in Week 1 of the Euroleague Regular Season.

Marko Banic had 22 points and five rebounds to lead Bilbao. D'or Fischer had 16 points and eight rebounds.

Martynas Gecevicius had 15 points in a losing effort for Olympiacos. Matt Howard had two points on four shots in 15 minutes.

Marcelinho Huertas, who was acquired this summer by Barcelona to replace Ricky Rubio, had an outstanding Euroleague debut with his new team in their 86-64 win over Union Olimpija.

Huertas had 17 points, eight assists and five rebounds, giving him a FIC40 of 26.5.

Pete Mickeal had 15 points, while Fran Vazquez added 10.

Barcelona had an eFG% of 58.8%, compared to just 45.0% for Union Olimpija.

Danny Green was Union Olimpija's leading scorer with 17 points. Davis Bertans went scoreless in just over four minutes of play.

Armani Milano defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv by a final score of 89-82 in Week 1 of the Euroleague Regular Season.

Maccabi Tel Aviv was last season's runner-up in the Final Four.

Malik Hairston had 25 points, six assists and four rebounds off the bench for Milan. Danilo Gallinari had 23 points and seven rebounds.

Maccabi was led by 23 points for Lior Eliyahu. Jordan Farmar had just six points on 11 shots to go with only one assist in approximately 30 minutes.

Anadolu Efes defeated KK Partizan by a final score of 84-73 in Week 1 of the Euroleague Regular Season.

Tarence Kinssey had 18 points, while Ersan Ilyasova had 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals in just 24 minutes.

Nikola Pekovic led Parizan with 21 points in just under 20 minutes to go with six rebounds. Acie law had six points and six turnovers.

2011 Euroleague champion Panathinaikos got off to a good start for the 11-12 season with a 98-77 win over Unicaja Malaga.

Seven members of Panathinaikos finished in double-figures with Final Four MVP Dimitris Diamantidis leading with 17 points.

Romain Sato, Steven Smith, Nick Calathes, Kostas Kaimakoglou, Aleks Maris and Sarunas Jasikevicius also finished in double-figures.

P.J. Tucker, Casey Jacobsen and Marcus Slaughter led Brose Baskets to a convincing 96-65 win over KK Zagreb in Week 1 of the Euroleague Regular Season on Thursday.

Tucker had 20 points on 11 shots, while Jacobsen and Slaughter each had 16 points.

Sean May had 10 points and nine rebounds for Zagreb.
